Help Texas Hurricane Harvey survivors who evacuated to Louisiana and seek sheltering assistance and other federal help must first register with FEMA. Survivors who evacuated to Louisiana and register may receive FEMA help with lodging expenses like hotels or apartments. FEMA may also reimburse survivors for the expenses if they’ve paid out-of-pocket.

The fastest way to register is online at disasterassistance.gov. Survivors may also register by calling 800-621-3362. People who use TTY may call 800-462-7585. Those who use 711 or Video Relay Service may call 800-621-3362.

Survivors only need to register once.
