Southeast Louisiana:  No hazardous weather is expected over the next seven days. What little precipitation occurred this morning has quickly pushed west out of the region with mostly dry weather anticipated through the rest of the day.

Rain chances significantly increase on Wednesday but should quickly some to an end overnight. With temperatures above freezing through the rest of the week, no wintery precipitation is expected.

Southwest / Central Louisiana:   A chance of freezing rain or drizzle will be ending this morning. Another upper level disturbance is expected to bring a good chance of rain late tonight into Wednesday but with temperatures above freezing, no icing or winter precipitation is expected.

A good chance of rain is expected Wednesday ending by the evening as the surface low and upper level disturbance moves east. Another surge of cold air will bring temperatures back down for Thursday through Saturday but no precipitation is expected. Significant warming temperatures along with increased chances of rain are expected Sunday and Monday.

An upper level trough will be approaching the region late tonight bringing with it a mixture of sleet and snow.
