NOTICE: Upcoming Bayou Lafourche Waterway Closures Between Havoline Canal & Flotation Canal

Port Fourchon Facilities/Managers:
The U.S. Coast Guard MSU Houma has advised mariners that a portion of Bayou Lafourche will be closed to all marine traffic to facilitate safe salvage operations in the area.
WHAT: Bayou Lafourche waterway closed to all vessel traffic
WHERE: From Havoline Canal to approximately 1,000 yards north of Flotation Canal in Port Fourchon
WHEN: 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily on Saturday, October 30, 2021 and Monday, November 1, 2021

Vessels south of the noted location can still safely maneuver within port waterways and through the main channel in Belle Pass.
