Port Fourchon – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Dredge Operations

Mariners are advised that on Thursday, October 13^th from 1200 to 1400, the Dredge Mike Hooks will be deploying a 27-inch diameter dredge pipe across Belle Pass near Bayou Lafourche intersection in Port Fourchon. Approximate position 29 6’ 24.62” N     090 12’ 50.87” W.  Mariners should expect delays in the area as navigation will be restricted.  Dredge vessel Mike Hooks will be standing by on VHF channel 87 and 13 for coordination of passing arrangements.  All mariners are urged to conduct appropriate voyage planning.
