The workshop aims to promote geospatial coordination during hurricane and other disaster season events (e.g., Wildland fires), identify points of contact, and share information about data portals and resources. Presentations will cover coordination related to hurricane and other disaster season event preparation, emergency response operations, ongoing recovery efforts, and an overview of federal and state agencies’ data clearinghouses, applications, and data acquisition systems that collect and host geospatial data.

Hosted by the Regional Application Center at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
