Boat hits Grosse Tete Bridge, forcing closure until further notice

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the Grosse Tete Bridge is closed until further notice. The draw bridge is located on Highway 77 between Grosse Tete and Plaquemine in Iberville Parish.
