Disaster Recovery Center in Belle Chasse Changing Locations

BATON ROUGE, La. – The temporary disaster recovery center at the Belle Chasse Library in Plaquemines Parish,
which has served survivors for two weeks, will close today, Sept. 29, at 5 p.m. FEMA is looking at other locations in
Belle Chasse that could potentially house the parish’s next disaster recovery center.
Residents of all parishes affected by Hurricane Ida can continue to visit a number of other centers open in
Louisiana. To locate a center, check the FEMA app or visit the FEMA DRC Locator.

The following center will close today:
Belle Chasse Library
8442 Highway 23,
Belle Chasse, LA 70037
