LABEOC Security Update

Currently, there are no credible threats against the homeland; however, the US Department of Homeland Security has issued a Heightened Threat Advisory. In light of rising geopolitical tensions and recent global events, increased vigilance is strongly encouraged.

Please stay alert and evaluate your current security measures, both physical and cyber. If you see any suspicious activity, report it right away. Check out these resources below to report and protect your business.

• If You See Something, Say Something® Report suspicious activity and threats of violence, including online threats, to local law enforcement, FBI Field Offices, or your local Fusion Center. Call 911 in case of emergency.

• The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative (NSI)The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative (NSI) is a collaborative effort by DHS, the FBI, and law enforcement partners to identify and report threats of terrorism and other related criminal activity.

• DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) offers cybersecurity best practices for securing US networks.
