This message is a seasonal alert from the Greater Lafourche Port Commission. GLPC’s Seasonal Alert indicates the beginning of hurricane season, which lasts from June 1 through November 30 of each year. In an effort to increase preparedness and communication before and during potential storm events that affect Port Fourchon and the South Lafourche Airport, we ask that you review your facility’s plan for storm season and share any updates to your contact information with GLPC.
Contact updating forms are always available on the GLPC website at www.portfourchon.com on the WEATHER & STORM INFO page, along with other helpful storm prep information and resources. In addition, a Weather & Storm Info banner is highlighted red on the GLPC website and will remain highlighted for the duration of storm season.
