Port Fourchon Harbor Police: Barge Escort

To: All Port Tenants

From: Harbor Police

Ref: Barge Escort

On the morning of Monday, September 16, 2024, Harbor Police will be escorting the D/B HEDRON from Triton Offshore on Old Pass Fourchon, to the sea buoys at the mouth of Belle Pass. This escort is scheduled for 7:00 am, but is subject to change.

Due to the size of the barge, there may be delays in marine traffic while the escort is in progress. Facilities located along Old Pass Fourchon could also be impacted due to the barge dimensions.

Harbor Police Marine Patrol will be monitoring VHF channel 13 if any assistance is needed.

As always, thank you for your patience,

Harbor Police
